Privacy Policy for Public People Search | WhoSearch
Learn how WhoSearch handles search queries, public-web results, signed-in reports, account data, service providers, retention, and privacy requests.

Scope
This policy explains how WhoSearch handles information when you use deep-search.bio, including the free public-web preview, signed-in reports, and account features. WhoSearch searches publicly accessible web pages; it is not a private-record, credit, employment, tenant, or consumer-reporting service.
Search Inputs and Reports
When you submit a name, username, or optional context, we send that search input to our search infrastructure and search providers so they can retrieve relevant public-web pages.
- Free previews are generated for the current request. They are not published as indexable profile pages.
- Signed-in full reports may store the query, search options, returned report, task status, and credit transaction so you can retrieve the report and we can operate the service.
- Continuing a search — if you choose to sign in or open checkout from a preview, we keep the input and up to two preview sources in session storage in that browser tab. This lets you return without repeating the search. The snapshot is consumed when restored, is no longer eligible for restoration after 30 minutes, and is cleared when you start another search or close the tab. This snapshot is not sent to analytics.
- Report content can include public URLs, page titles, snippets, dates, and evidence labels returned from publicly accessible sources.
Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the search. Search results can be incomplete, stale, or about a different person with a similar name.
Other Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- Account information — such as your name, email address, sign-in records, and account identifier.
- Service activity — report creation, credit usage, feature interactions, errors, and security events.
- Device and technical data — browser type, device type, approximate network information, and logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Cookies and local storage — used for authentication, language, preferences, and essential product functions.
- Payment records — transaction and subscription status. Payment processors handle full card details; WhoSearch does not store full card numbers.
Our analytics are intended to measure page and product usage, not to create public profiles from the names or usernames you search.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve search reports, authenticate accounts, process credits and payments, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, respond to support or privacy requests, and comply with applicable law.
Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share only the information needed with vendors that provide search, hosting, database, authentication, analytics, email, payment, storage, and security services. Search providers receive the query and context needed to perform a requested search. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
Public Sources, Accuracy, and Decisions
WhoSearch organizes information from public web pages. Inclusion in a report does not prove identity, ownership, accuracy, or current status. Evidence groups are leads for human review, not verified identity matches. Do not use WhoSearch as the sole basis for eligibility, employment, housing, credit, insurance, legal, safety, or other consequential decisions.
Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and abuse prevention. Retention can vary by record type. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport and access controls, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your account data. You can also ask us to review a public URL appearing in WhoSearch results through our opt-out and result review page.
An approved result-review request affects WhoSearch's display or retrieval of the reviewed URL where technically feasible. It does not remove the source page from the internet or from third-party search engines. Contact the original publisher for source-page removal.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated in the product or by email where appropriate.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@deep-search.bio. Include enough information for us to identify your account or the specific public URL, but do not email sensitive documents unless we ask for them through a secure method.
